Audio channels supported

We support MPEG, VOB, TS, MKV output file with AC3 5.1 channels only when input file has Dolby Digital 5.1 channels. Solutions for other file formats or other input audio codec, please send an email to support@ojosoft.com.

Mono audio channel

Audio contains only 1 channel is called mono sound. Monophonic sound reproduction (often shortened to mono) is single-channel. Typically there is only one microphone, one loudspeaker, or (in the case of headphones and multiple loudspeakers) channels are fed from a common signal path. In the case of multiple microphones the paths are mixed into a single signal path at some stage.

Stereo audio channel

Audio contains 2 channels is called stereo sound.Stereophonic sound, commonly called stereo, is the reproduction of sound using two or more independent audio channels through a symmetrical configuration of loudspeakers in such a way as to create the impression of sound heard from various directions, as in natural hearing.

Dolby Digital 5.1 channels

Dolby Digital, a digital audio encoding system from Dolby used in movie and home theaters. First used in 1995, Dolby Digital employs Dolby's AC-3 (Audio Coding-3) coding and compression technology and is the standard for DVD-Video and HDTV. Dolby Digital provides five discrete channels of audio plus a subwoofer channel for low frequency effects. The five channels are front left, right and center and surround left and right.
